Installation Guide
Installing our aluminium jamb is easy - it should take between an hour to an hour and a half and you just need to follow the steps below. But if you have any questions, our team is only a phone call away. Depending on the external cladding of the house, please see information specific to that type, as listed at the bottom of the page.
Online Installation Guide
Follow our installation guide below to install our product into your build. Please note that the final steps are specific to the external cladding system of the home.
Step 1. Position head profile
Hold head profile up to lintel and install central face screw. Measure from concrete to underside of lintel. Subtract 20mm. Cut legs to length. Install corner cleats into head profile.
Step 2. Fix side profiles
Slide side profiles over corner cleat. Level each side with soffit plum and install face screws to side profiles.
Step 3. Plum head profile
Remove central screw and allow head profile to sag. Level head profile to string line and install face screws to head.
Step 4. Install jamb clips
Check for plumb outside edge with level and install 2 - 3 clips up each side. No higher than two thirds up sides.
Step 5. Install head clips
Run string line along and across underside of head profile. Install head clips.
Step 6. Select your external cladding system
The final step of our installation process is specific to the external cladding of the home. Please follow the corresponding instructions that apply to the cladding system of your build.
